Lowveld Marines was started by Johan & Alice du Venage in 2014. We realized there was a need in the marketplace for an honest and ethical hobby shop to address the many exciting and upcoming hobbies needs. We, therefore, strive ourselves in promoting responsible, sustainable and ethically correct aquatic husbandry. At the age of 12, Johan started his first freshwater aquarium and his love and passion for the hobby grew stronger. In 1998 he started his first Marine Aquarium after his passion and knowledge expanded rapidly. Today he helps fellow hobbyist to make a success.
